Mission to Serve

St. Paul's Mission to Serve team is Gathered by God to Share the Love of Jesus with a goal of blessing ministries by physically serving alongside them - when possible - and by making financial contributions to chosen organizations. 100% of the Mission to Serve contributions are forwarded to the recipient organization.

Current Mission

WAIT House, serving Warren, Washington and northern Saratoga counties

The mission of WAIT House since 2003  has been to provide stability to youth who present themselves as homeless,  through the immediate provision of coordinated services; reunification of families where appropriate; the provision of supervised emergency and transitional housing,  with the goal of personal responsibility and self-sufficiency.

WAIT House has contracted with Adirondack Health Institute (AHI) to provide a Health Home Children’s Care Management program dedicated to work with members (and caregivers) ages birth to 21.

WAIT House’s Street Outreach Program (SOP) works with homeless, runaway, and street youth (ages 16 - 24) to help them find stable housing and services.  SOP focuses on developing relationships between outreach workers and young people that allow them to rebuild connections with caring adults and their communities.

Youth in SOP typically are sleeping in places not suitable for habitation such as parks, tents or cars or they are couch-surfing.
